使っているYouTubeですが、ついにauにも対応
YouTubeは2008年5月22日、au端末での動画の再生に対応したと発表した。YouTubeのモバイル対応は、1月にNTTドコモ端末の一部機種で開始していたが、新たにau端末の一部機種からの再生にも対応した。
対応するau端末は、3GPP2対応の機種。確認済みの端末はW61SH/W52SH、W56T/W54T/W53T/W51T、W61CA/W53CA/W52CA/W21CA、W53H/W52H、W52K。
au端末で再生可能な動画は、現段階では容量1.5MB（約2分半）以内の動画に限られる。より長い動画の再生については、分割することで再生できるように今後対応していく予定としている。また、携帯電話からのメールによる動画の投稿や、PCで作成したお気に入りリストや再生リストの視聴にも対応する。
当ブログもPCの場合は、PCのYouTubeで、携帯の場合は、携帯のYouTubeで見れるようにしてあります。これでauでも見れるようになったかな
