XBOX360とPS3のリモコン。
ゲーム以外ではリモコンの利用の方が多いので、使いやすさは私にとってはとってもとっても重要なことです。
XBOX360の方はDVD、HD DVD（もう終わっている規格）の操作から対応しているテレビの操作、ダッシュボードの操作まで使えます。表示は英語と思いきやすべて日本語。Windows VistaなどのWindows Media Centerへの起動などできるのが特徴。ダッシュボードに行くためのボタンが離れているため誤動作をあまりしません。
十字キーの上に再生や停止が配置されているため操作がしやすい。バックライト付きなので電気を消しても使えるのでとってもいい。さすが人間工学に基づいた持ちやすく使いやすいデザインが売りにしているだけある。残念なのは電池の持ちが悪い。
PS3の方はDVD、Blu-rayの操作からXMBの操作まで使えます。表示は日本語と思いきやすべて英語。画面で表示されているのは日本語。PS2やPSXなどのリモコンと同じく十字キーとEnterキー、ゲームコントローラと同じ△○×□のボタンで殆どの動作ができます。この点はとってもいい。
再生ボタンや停止ボタンを押そうと思うと十字キーから相当下にありとっても押しにくい。途中他のボタンがあるので間違って押してしまう。ホームボタンのPSマークは十字キーのすぐ下で小さいので微妙に使いにくい。ああ、ゲームコントローラと同じ配置なのね。
バックライトが付いていないので場所を覚えておかないといけません。
それとBluetoothの文字が目立ちすぎ、この位置にPLAYSTATION 3の文字じゃないのか。
持ったときの重さはXBOX360の方が少し重いですがこちらの方がしっくりくる。持った感じもXBOX360の方がいい。Blu-rayが再生できるのはPS3なのでこれに関しては当然PS3ですね。
