米Microsoftは2009年8月27日、Xbox360を値下げすると発表した。上位モデル「Elite」が399.99ドルから100ドル値下げして299.99ドルに、通常版が299.99ドルから 50ドル値下げして249.99ドルになる。エントリー機の「Arcade」は199.99ドルに据え置く。とのこと。
値下げをしてPS3の新型を2009年9月3日に発売するのに合わせて、Xbox360も値下げしてきました。日本でも値下げするのでしょうか。気になるところです。これでユーザーが増えるといいですね。
そろそろ、120GBのHDDに取替えを考えていたので合わせて値下げしてくれると嬉しいな。
そういえば、2009年8月11日のXbox LIVEアップデートの中で、ゴールド メンバーの継続利用年数がゲーマー カードに表示されるようになっていて、6（6年）と表示されていました。初代XBOXのBetaから加入しているのでこの数字だそうです。あれから6年ですか。ふ?ん。
